The purpose of this blog was to keep University of Memphis students constantly informed on the Student Government Association. It was my goal to inform students of discussed topics at each SGA meeting and provide information during election season about candidates their respective parties. keeping up the blog when I left the position of SGA beat reporter at the paper and became managing editor.

Investigative Reporter Debbie Cenziper sought help from college students around the nation to check up on government-funded housing projects, many of which weren't completed nor had any residents well after the deadline date. I checked out a HUD project in Memphis, Tenn. for Cenziper and found it to be finished and housing several residents. I, along with 56 other journalists, got contribution credit at the end of the piece.
